Early feedback on the 2025 Ripstick 100 280g is limited but positive: reviewers and buyers describe an arm-friendly, spin-heavy frame that's noticeably lighter and quicker through the swing than its 300g sibling. The tradeoff reviewers flag is stability, since the lower weight that makes it easy to swing also makes it feel less locked-in than the 300g on off-center or harder-hit balls.
Best for
- Rising intermediates wanting easy power
- Players who want spin without arm strain
- Doubles/net players wanting quick prep
- High school / junior players
Pros
- Arm-friendly, plush feel credited to the large O-Ports
- Easy access to power with little effort
- Open 16x18 pattern generates plenty of spin
- Light, fast swing that's easy to prepare and accelerate
- Praised for control and small-stroke feel at net
Cons
- Less stable than the heavier 300g version, per early hands-on impressions
- Very little independent video or long-term playtest coverage exists yet for this exact 280g build
- Buyer feedback pool is still small

Weight, power, control, looks, & price! Sweet spot for HS players.

What this racquet gives me is finesse and great small stroke feel... no downsides.

There is also a Prince Ripstick 280, which is easier to swing and use, but not as stable.
