No dedicated reviews of the Boost Drive W colorway turned up, but it is spec-identical (105 sq in head, 9.7 oz strung, 16x19 pattern, 3pts head-light) to Babolat's unisex Boost Drive, which is reviewed fairly consistently. Reviewers describe it as an easy-swinging, comfortable, forgiving frame for beginners and juniors that runs out of stability and precision once a player starts hitting hard.
Best for
- Beginners and juniors moving up to a full-size racquet
- Recreational or returning players
- Players who want easy depth and spin without much swing effort
Pros
- Very light and maneuverable, easy to swing without arm fatigue
- Comfortable, arm-friendly feel praised across reviews
- Large 105 sq in head gives a forgiving margin on off-center hits
- Open 16x19 pattern helps beginners find spin
- Budget-friendly price for a graphite frame
Cons
- Lacks stability and plow-through against harder, faster shots
- Serve control described as inconsistent and hard to dial in
- Feels a bit disconnected with limited feedback at net
- Not spin-friendly enough for more advanced players seeking bite
- Players likely to outgrow it as their level and swing speed increase
