What players say
Little data 3 sources
The 2025 Evo Drive (102 sq in, 9.8oz, 16x19) is too new and too far down the beginner/intermediate end of the lineup to have real forum, Reddit, or YouTube playtest coverage yet. The only firsthand player account found is a single Tennis Warehouse customer review; everything else on the web about it is retailer product copy rather than independent player opinion.
Best for
- Intermediate players building consistency
- Players who like the Pure Drive but want a softer arm feel
- Club and recreational players wanting easy spin
Pros
- Very light and maneuverable, described by a buyer as feeling like it weighs almost nothing in hand
- Open 16x19 pattern makes spin easy to generate
- Comfort-focused build (Woofer System damping) suited to players wanting less harsh feedback than the Pure Drive
Cons
- Factory/stock strings are only adequate, not high quality, per the one buyer review found
- Control-oriented players may find it less precise than thinner-beam frames
- Almost no independent long-term player reviews exist yet since it is a recent release

Feels great in the hand and light as a feather. The factory strings are OK but not exactly pro quality, but you can definitely play right out of the box.
