What players say
Reviewers see the CX 200 LS as a light, easy-swinging version of the CX 200 that keeps most of the series' control and feel while being much more forgiving to swing. It suits intermediates and juniors building a swing, with the tradeoff being a bit less stability and power than the full-weight CX 200, especially at net and on serve.
Best for
- Improving intermediates
- Advanced juniors
- Players moving up from a lighter frame
- Baseline-focused control players
Pros
- Easy to swing and maneuver at 290g while still feeling stable on contact
- Good spin generation from the open 16x19 pattern and Powergrid Stringtech+
- Retains much of the control and feel reputation of the heavier CX 200
- Manageable and less tiring than denser player frames like the Vcore Pro
Cons
- Less power in reserve than the standard CX 200, particularly noted on serves
- Volley stability and control lag behind the groundstroke performance
- At least one longer-term tester found the feel thin/lacking compared to expectations for a control frame
- Grip sizing reported as running small, with size 4 grips hard to find in some markets

The CX 200 LS has a good blend of power, spin, and control, and received a 7.5 out of 10 from the back of the court.
