What players say
Coverage of the exact FX 500 LS (as opposed to the standard FX 500 or FX 500 Tour) is thin, but the one detailed playtest found it maneuverable with good touch, control and easy access to spin, especially on serves. The tradeoff is that its light, low-swingweight build runs out of punch for players who want to swing big or hit through heavier, more aggressive balls.
Best for
- Amateur to intermediate baseliners
- Players building racquet-head speed
- Kick/spin serves
- Doubles/net touch
Pros
- Maneuverable and easy to handle despite the 100 sq in head
- Good touch and precision on volleys and backhand patterns
- Spin-friendly, especially for kick and spin serves
- Improved arm-friendly, dampened feel versus the earlier generation
Cons
- Lacks power/punch for flat, heavy topspin forehands
- Can feel overpowered or unstable against heavier incoming shots
- Not suited to players wanting an aggressive flat serve
- Very limited independent reviews of this specific LS variant exist online

I found it challenging to execute a consistent heavy topspin forehand using this racket due to its lightweight construction.
