What players say

Liked 2 sources

Reviewers describe the Babolat EVO Strike as an easy-power, spin-friendly frame aimed at beginner and intermediate players rather than a control stick. It's light and maneuverable with a soft, forgiving feel, but that same light weight costs it stability against pace and it flags on tennis-elbow-risk metrics for a supposedly comfort-oriented frame.

Best for

Beginners and improvers
Players wanting easy topspin
All-court/tweener style play
Players who want a light, maneuverable swing

Pros

Easy access to power and spin with minimal swing effort
Light, fast swing that is maneuverable at net and on the run
Large 102 sq in head and EVO Feel material give a forgiving, cushioned feel for the price
Good value performance frame for players starting out

Cons

Lacks stability against heavier, harder-hit balls compared to more substantial frames
Control rated well below its power and spin output, so full swings can be hard to rein in
Stiff-ish flex profile means comfort/elbow-risk isn't as good as the marketing suggests
Not much depth of independent, hands-on player commentary available online

Voices

Very good racquet. It's what I expected, good weight and size for me. Good strike

The frame swings easily, helping you generate racquet head speed... it excels at generating topspin

Players with arm issues should consider softer strings or a more flexible racquet
