What players say

Mixed 3 sources

Testers and forum players generally like the Prestige MP 2023 for its soft, plush feel and unexpected baseline pop for a control frame, with the 18x19 pattern giving precise directional control and strong stability on mis-hits. A more critical minority (notably Tennisnerd) feel it sits awkwardly between the Prestige Pro/Tour and lacks a clear identity, calling the rewards modest relative to the demands.

Best for

Advanced control-oriented baseliners
Players wanting more forgiveness than Prestige Pro/Tour
Doubles players needing net stability
Players sensitive to arm comfort

Pros

Soft, plush feel with good ball pocketing and comfort
Stable and locked-in on mis-hits, hard to twist
More accessible pace off the ground than expected from a control frame
Precise directional control from the 18x19 pattern

Cons

Feels less distinct than the Prestige Pro/Tour, criticized by some as lacking identity
Not a big spin generator
Higher swingweight (~330) can feel a bit cumbersome/clunky
Limited free power on serve, needs deliberate technique
