What players say

Liked 3 sources

Reviewers see the 2026 Extreme MP as a clear step up from the 2024 version, adding a firmer, more connected feel via the new Hy-Bor layup while keeping the easy spin and power the Extreme line is known for. It's described as the most forgiving, well-rounded racquet in the Extreme family, though a few players find it stiffer and less forgiving than expected at low RA numbers.

Best for

Intermediate to advanced spin-oriented baseliners
Players upgrading from the 2024 Extreme MP
Doubles players wanting stability at net
Players who want easy power without a heavy swingweight

Pros

Easy access to spin and power with a forgiving sweet spot
Hy-Bor layup gives a firmer, more "alive" and connected feel than the 2024 model
Good directional control and depth for a power-oriented frame
Solid stability at net, helpful in doubles
Manageable, fast swingweight that's easy to accelerate

Cons

Some players find it stiffer than its RA rating suggests, which could be a concern for arm issues
Spin is reliable and predictable rather than exceptional for a 16x19 spin frame
One reviewer felt it's less forgiving than the 2024 model and better suited to NTRP 4.5+ players with bigger swings
