What players say
Players describe the 2025 Gravity Team as a comfortable, control-leaning 104in² frame that is easier to swing than the outgoing version thanks to a lighter, more head-light build. Feedback on power is mixed: some testers call it surprisingly poppy for its specs while others find it firmly control-first, and most agree the Auxetic construction keeps the feel plush.
Best for
- Improving intermediates upgrading from tweeners
- Players with arm sensitivity wanting a forgiving 104in²
- Doubles/team players who value control over raw power
- Players who couldn't handle the older, heavier Gravity Team
Pros
- Comfortable, plush feel praised by both forum posters and buyers
- Large, forgiving sweet spot from the 104in² teardrop head
- Lighter, more head-light 2025 build is easier to swing and get to the ball with
- Control-oriented character that still has some pop on serves and groundstrokes
Cons
- Non-Auxetic version of the frame reportedly feels harsh by comparison
- Some players find it more control-than-power, less lively than rival tweeners like the old Boom Team
- Full poly setups at high tension can dull the comfort players buy this frame for
- Very little independent long-form video/written testing exists specifically for the Team model versus its MP/Tour/Pro siblings

This one is just more easy to use: quick, more forgiving, not too much power.

Has allowed me to get more shots back, especially those backhands that I am late to get to.

Surprisingly powerful given the specs, lots of power both on serves and groundstrokes.

Very control oriented, not as powerful as the 2022 Boom Team despite similar specs.

The Gravity line is about control, not power.
