What players say
Independent coverage of this exact 285g Ki Q+15 is thin online — most detailed write-ups cover other ProKennex Ki models (Q+5, Q+Tour, the older 280g Q15) rather than this one. The little firsthand feedback that does exist for this 285g version describes a big-headed, powerful frame with a comfortable, arm-friendly feel, but one that swings heavy and demands a longer stroke.
Best for
- Doubles players wanting more pace on serves and putaways
- Players who want a bigger, more forgiving 105 sq in sweet spot
- Players prioritizing arm comfort who don't mind a heavier swing
Pros
- One repeat buyer called it a strong blend of power and comfort, noting it hit more powerfully than ProKennex's own Black Ace
- Large 105 sq in head and extended 27.5" length give easy access to power and depth
- Owner feedback suggests a comfortable, arm-friendly feel consistent with ProKennex's Kinetic line reputation
Cons
- Tennis Warehouse's own gear guide calls it "certainly demanding" to swing, citing a high-for-ProKennex 70 stiffness rating and ~330 strung swingweight
- Very little independent playtesting, forum, or video review content exists specifically for this 285g version, making it hard to confirm a broad consensus
- No Reddit, Talk Tennis, or dedicated YouTube reviews of this exact model were found during research

Fine blend of power and comfort, more powerful than the Black Ace. ProKennex finally has a stick with power and comfort.
