This is Solinco's first oversize Blackout, released in spring 2026, so player feedback is still limited to an early Talk Tennis thread and a single Tennis Warehouse customer review. Both describe a surprisingly solid, comfortable 110 that gives easy depth and spin without the hollow, floaty feel typical of oversize frames, making it stand out among other OS options testers had tried.
Best for
- Doubles players wanting margin for error
- Players managing arm/wrist issues
- Players upgrading from smaller, stiffer OS frames
- Compact-swing or intermediate players
Pros
- Feels solid and stable rather than hollow or buzzy for an oversize frame
- Comfortable, low impact harshness noted by an arm-sensitive tester
- Large sweet spot gives forgiveness and consistent depth on off-center hits
- 16x19 pattern gives accessible spin without feeling excessive
- Control described as good for a firm, open-pattern racquet, and versatile across serves, groundstrokes and net play
Cons
- Stock weight (~268g unstrung) struck at least one forum poster as an odd, light choice
- Only a 16x19 pattern is offered; a poster wished for a 16x20 option
- Very few player reviews exist yet since it just released

Soft swings result in soft shots, and I can swing at my maximum and generate more ball speed.

It swings like a 100, hits like a 100, but defends like a 110.

Lots of pow and forgiveness obviously but the big surprise was how solid it felt.

An odd choice for weight.
