What players say
Reviewers describe the TFight 305S as a big step up from the older TF 305, trading some plow-through power for lower swingweight and much faster handling. Tennis Warehouse playtesters called it one of the highest-scoring frames they have tested, praising its connected feel, control, and surprisingly good spin for an 18x19 pattern. The main trade-offs mentioned are a flatter, more rectangular grip shape and slightly less depth/power than the previous version.
Best for
- Intermediate to advanced all-court players
- Players wanting control with easier maneuverability
- Baseline consistency and net play
- Players upgrading from the older TF 305
Pros
- Crisp, connected, solid feel at impact
- Much faster swing and better maneuverability than the outgoing TF 305
- Strong control and directional accuracy
- Better than expected spin for an 18x19 pattern
- Stable at net and against big hitters
Cons
- Less plow-through power/depth than the previous TF 305
- Rectangular, flatter grip shape takes adjustment
- Off-center hits produce noticeable kickback
- No trap door in the handle for easy weight customization
