What players say
Testers describe the Vostra V7 as an easy-swinging, spin-friendly 100 sq in frame that generates power without giving up much control, and a step up in stability from the older Vostra V1 MP. The main knock is an occasional inconsistent stringbed response that sent groundstrokes and returns long for at least one tester.
Best for
- Aggressive intermediate to advanced baseliners
- Players wanting easy spin and racquet head speed
- Serve-and-volley or all-court net play
Pros
- Easy access to racquet head speed and topspin off both wings
- Reliable depth and directional control on groundstrokes
- Solid serve pace with good spin access
- Stable and maneuverable at net with a forgiving sweetspot
- More stable feel than the previous Vostra V1 MP
Cons
- Stringbed response inconsistent for some testers, occasionally launching shots long
- Not a heavy plow-through frame for players wanting maximum mass
- Stiffer construction (RA 69) can feel less pleasant on off-center hits near the top of the frame

This racquet is fun to swing and can really generate racquet head speed, but it's also very spin-friendly off both wings.

I thought this racquet provided better stability than the Vostra V1 MP.

The blend of maneuverability, power and stability was right on for me at net.
