What players say
Player reviews of the Vostra V4, Volkl's 105 sq in extended-length (27.6") frame, are consistently positive, with buyers praising arm-friendly comfort and easy, deep power combined with strong topspin. It's mainly recommended for intermediate and recreational players, including those recovering from or avoiding tennis elbow, though a few more advanced players also like it for its stability and reach on serves and defense.
Best for
- Intermediate/recreational players
- Doubles players wanting reach
- Players with arm issues seeking comfort
- Players who want easy power and spin
Pros
- Arm-friendly, comfortable feel that several reviewers credit with easing tennis elbow
- Easy, deep power that multiple reviewers call plentiful for an extended-length frame
- Strong topspin generation, described by one reviewer as 'mind-boggling' combined with the extra length
- Good maneuverability for net play and defense despite the 27.6" length
Cons
- Feedback comes almost entirely from recreational/intermediate players, so how it performs for advanced or fast swingers is less documented
- One reviewer felt it still needs more stability to fully back up its power on bigger swings

This thing produces a heavy topspin that when combined with the extended length is just mind-boggling. The Volkl tech on this frame for topspin is real.

Easy power. Perfect for me - a senior 3.7 mostly doubles player. A definite must try for anyone in the intermediate category.

Bought a Head, absolutely hated it and within 4 weeks started getting tennis elbow... Decided to go with the Vostra V4 because it felt better. I love this racquet.

Plenty of power for deep controlled shots. Light weight makes this racquet very maneuverable especially for quick net shots. Very comfortable and arm-friendly.

A little more power, but it still isn't a comfortable racquet with enough power and stability... it's easy to dig out of the ground.
