What players say
Early player feedback on this pro tour mold version of the Blade 98 16x19 v10 is limited but consistently positive: testers moving up from other brands describe strong torsional stability and very high spin access without needing spin-friendly strings. Reviewers frame it as a control frame that rewards a fast, committed swing rather than one that gives free power.
Best for
- Advanced all-court players
- Players with fast/vertical swings
- Players who want high spin without a spin-string setup
- Players upgrading from denser, less connected frames
Pros
- High torsional stability that keeps the head steady on off-center and angled shots
- Very high spin potential even with a flat-strung setup
- Versatile across slices, volleys, serves and groundstrokes
- Connected, direct feel described as reliable for precision
Cons
- One tester wanted slightly more power/depth and suggested lower tension or a different string
- Explicitly not a 'free power' frame - rewards hitters who can generate their own pace
- Very few independent written or video reviews exist yet since it is a new 2026 release

This racquet can literally do everything with a high degree of both control and power, from slices to volleys to serves to groundstrokes.

It has high torsional stability, which helps to not put too much wrist on shots... the spin on this is ridiculously high.

This racquet is so close to perfect for me... the only thing I felt maybe could be slightly better was slight amount of power/depth.
