What players say
Player feedback on the Pro Staff Team Classic is limited but consistently positive: buyers on Tennis Warehouse rate it 5/5 and call out the spin, power, and feel for a Team-level Pro Staff, with several saying it was a clear step up from a beginner or older recreational frame. Independent expert and video reviews for this exact 100 sq in / 16x19 model are scarce, since most Pro Staff review attention goes to the pricier 97 Classic; the one forum comment found came from a player who had reweighted the racquet to standard Pro Staff specs and found it stiff and inconsistent in that modified form.
Best for
- Intermediate 3.5-4.0 players
- Players upgrading from a beginner or older recreational racquet
- Players who want Pro Staff feel without a heavy, demanding frame
- Baseline players wanting a spin/control blend
Pros
- Buyers repeatedly praise the spin, power, feel, and price
- Head-light balance makes it easy to swing and maneuver compared to heavier Pro Staff models
- Players moving up from beginner gear report more precision and better feel on groundstrokes
- Described as a noticeable performance upgrade over older starter or recreational frames
Cons
- Very little independent expert or video review coverage exists for this specific model
- One experienced forum player found a customized, reweighted version stiff and inconsistent
- Gets overshadowed in coverage by the pricier Pro Staff 97 Classic

I'm a mid range player (3.5-4.0)...I love the racquet though, and I would highly recommend it.

Now that I have some control over my groundstrokes, it amplifies good hits.

I had a 10 year old Triad 3 that I was using and the Pro Staff Team has taken my game up a level.

Stiff, stable, powerful, launchy... little sluggish and erratic.
