The RF 01 Pro Laver Cup 2026 is a cosmetic-only edition of the standard Wilson RF 01 Pro (98in, 16x19, 320g unstrung), so reviews of that frame apply directly. Reviewers and playtesters rate it very highly for stability, feel at net, and slice/backhand precision, but consistently flag it as stiff, demanding, and small-sweetspotted, suited only to advanced players who can time the ball well.

Best for

Advanced/elite all-court players
Strong one-handed backhand and slice players
Players seeking a stable, feel-oriented control frame
Federer/Blade-style players wanting more plow-through

Pros

crisp, direct, connected feel at contact, especially on volleys and net play
high stability and plow-through for its weight; handles off-center contact on serves and drives well
excellent slice execution and precision on one-handed backhands
good blend of power and control on linear, penetrating drives

Cons

firm/stiff feel, especially outside the sweet spot; can be tough on the arm without gut or a softer poly setup
small, demanding sweet spot with a noticeable drop-off in playability off-center
dense 16x19 string pattern gives only a modest spin window, so heavy topspin takes more work
heavy, head-light, technique-dependent frame that many club-level players find hard to swing well
