What players say
Independent enthusiast coverage of the Ultra v5 launch (Tennisnerd, Tennis.com, Tennis Warehouse's own playtest team) focused on the Ultra 100 v5 and Ultra 99 Pro v5 and did not test the 111 v5, so there is little third-party analysis of this exact frame. The two verified owners who reviewed it on Tennis Warehouse are both very positive, citing a big, forgiving sweet spot, low vibration, and easy power that helps older or slower-swing players.
Best for
- Senior and older players
- Players wanting easy, low-effort power
- Players who want a big, forgiving sweet spot
- Singles and doubles club players
Pros
- Owners describe a noticeably larger, more forgiving sweet spot than the previous Ultra 111 generation
- Very low vibration/comfortable feel reported by owners
- Easy access to power and depth, called out as especially helpful for an older player with a slower swing
- Well-balanced feel praised by a long-time Ultra user
Cons
- Almost no independent or expert review coverage exists for this exact 111 v5 model; major outlets and TW's playtest team reviewed only the 100 v5 and 99 Pro v5 from the same launch, so the positive owner impressions are not cross-checked by other testers

The sweet spot is larger, the balance is perfect and the vibration factor is almost not existent. Great racquet for both singles and dubs.

Bigger racquet head has helped me. Also the light weight and power is helpful for a 67 year old man. Like the Ultra 111 a lot!
