What players say

Liked 5 sources

Early reviews of the Muse 100L, Yonex's lightest 100 sq in Muse frame, describe it as a comfortable, whippy, easy-swinging racquet that impressed testers even unstrung and unmodified. Reviewers consistently point it at beginners and improving intermediates who want spin and maneuverability, not at advanced players chasing shot weight.

Best for

Beginners and improving intermediates
Players who want a fast, whippy swing
Arm/elbow comfort seekers
Coaches hitting with weaker players

Pros

Very comfortable, low-stiffness feel that reviewers call arm-friendly
Easy to generate racquet head speed and spin thanks to the light weight and 16x18 pattern
Predictable, controllable response despite the low stock weight
Maneuverable at net and easy to position under time pressure

Cons

Medium-low inherent power and shots can lack weight compared to stiffer, heavier frames
Advanced or heavy-hitting players may find it under-powered for serious match play without adding weight
Adding significant lead weight to increase mass reportedly introduces control issues

Voices
