Babolat RPM Blast Orange 17/1.25 String Exclusive
Line: RPM Blast
$22.00
Introducing RPM Blast Orange! Like the original color, this durable co-poly offers MASSIVE SPIN POTENTIAL and pinpoint control. This string's incredible spin potential comes in part from its slick surface, which enables it to snapback powerfully during impact for extra RPMs (think heavy ball). According to our playtesters, RPM Blast Orange not only feels a tad more comfortable than the original, but it also offers slightly better tension maintenance and playability duration . All in all, this co-poly, with its time-tested formula and legendary heritage, is one of the game's best options for those who are looking to load the ball with pace and spin.

What players say
Reviewers treat RPM Blast Orange as the standard black RPM Blast with two changes: a softer, better-pocketing feel and noticeably longer tension/playability life. Spin and control scores match the original, and testers who restring often for black RPM Blast report the orange version lasting a week or more longer. A couple of testers still find it firm and unexciting off the stringbed compared to softer co-polys.
Best for
- Advanced players who want heavy topspin
- Players upgrading from standard black RPM Blast for more durability
- Flexible-frame players wanting a softer poly
- Full poly or poly/multi hybrid setups
Pros
- Holds tension and playability longer than standard black RPM Blast
- Softer feel and better ball pocketing than the original
- High spin from the slick surface with strong snapback
- Strong control reported by playtesters and customers
Cons
- Still firm and low-powered, not suited to beginners or arm-sensitive players
- A couple of testers find it board-like and plain feeling off the stringbed
- Premium price versus basic polyesters

Orange pocketed the ball better, whereas the black version felt deader.

This orange version plays better than the normal rpm blast.

A little softer giving him better feel, holds tension better than the original.

Board-like and boring, but it does not cause arm pain and stays playable more than ten hours in.
