What players say
Customer feedback on Tennis Warehouse spans more than two decades and is split: many players say this multifilament feels close to natural gut, with good power, pocketing, and comfort for arm or shoulder issues, while a recurring group reports fast tension loss and inconsistent durability. No independent video or forum reviews of this exact 16-gauge version turned up; the record is mostly one retailer's customer review section.
Best for
- Players wanting a gut-like, comfortable multifilament feel
- Players with arm or shoulder sensitivity
- Doubles and net players wanting touch and control
- Players willing to restring often in exchange for feel
Pros
- Many reviewers across years describe it as close to natural gut in feel, with good pocketing and low vibration
- Several players recovering from arm or shoulder problems report comfortable, pain-free hitting with this string
- Good control and touch reported at net and on serves, per multiple customer reviews
- Decent power and spin access noted by several reviewers
Cons
- Multiple reviewers report noticeable tension loss within hours of stringing; some advise stringing tighter to compensate
- Durability varies widely between reviewers, from about a week to several months depending on player level
- A few reviewers say the string moves excessively in the bed after a few hours, hurting consistency and spin
- Only two recent star-rated reviews exist; most feedback is older and comes from a single retailer's page
