What players say
No YouTube, Reddit, or editorial playtest coverage turned up for this Gamma multifilament; the only player feedback found is a long run of Tennis Warehouse customer reviews, most of them a decade or more old, plus one current 2025 review. Reviewers largely agree on a soft, gut-like feel with strong spin and bite on the ball, but they split sharply on control and durability, with some reporting quick breakage or the string moving a lot in the bed.
Best for
- Players wanting a soft, gut-like multifilament feel
- Players prioritizing spin and comfort over string life
- Players who restring often rather than needing one string to last
Pros
- Reviewers repeatedly describe a soft, gut-like feel that lets them feel the ball well
- Several reviewers say it generates strong spin and bite on contact
- A couple of reviewers found it aided control on specific shots, such as keeping backhands in play
- The one current (2025) star-rated review calls it a great-playing, durable string
Cons
- Durability is a recurring complaint; some reviewers report breakage within hours of play
- At least one reviewer found it gave poor control, with the ball trampolining off the racquet
- The string is reported to move around in the bed, needing resetting between points
- Noted as sensitive to cold temperatures compared with natural gut
- Almost all detailed feedback found is more than a decade old, with only one current review
