Gamma TNT2 16/1.32 Natural String Reel - 360'
Line: TNT2
$109.99
One of Gamma's most popular strings. This solid core string provides great comfort, playability and spin. We found this string to be more durable than comparable multi's.

What players say
No dedicated video or forum coverage turned up for this exact reel; the player feedback found is a run of Tennis Warehouse customer reviews on the string itself (same material sold as a 40' set under TNT16, and as this 360' reel). Current reviewers rate it highly, mostly using it as a cross with a poly main, and praise its feel, touch, and added pop. Older archived reviews flag quick tension loss and durability as recurring weak points.
Best for
- Hybrid setups as a cross with a polyester main
- Medium-to-slow swing recreational and doubles players
- Players wanting more touch on volleys and blocks
- Players prioritizing arm comfort over outright durability
Pros
- Soft, comfortable feel off the stringbed, including a cushioned response at the sweet spot
- Adds pop and power as a cross string in a hybrid, especially noted for volleys, blocks, and touch shots
- Easier on the arm than polyester or Kevlar, according to long-time users
- Several recent reviewers rate it 5/5 and single out the energy return and feel
Cons
- Tension loss and a shortened playability window are a recurring complaint; one reviewer said it became unplayable after about 5 hours
- Not a high-performance string; one reviewer advises USTA 4.0+ or UTR 4+ players to use something else
- A few reviewers found it hard on the elbow despite its soft reputation, or felt it played well only briefly for the price
